What paste and paint would you recommend for my wallpaper?

If your wallpaper states it is paintable then we would advise to use a good quality matt emulsion paint and allow to dry before applying other finishes, i.e. silk emulsion or satin/gloss oil paints and always test on a small piece prior to emulsioning. Most commercially available pastes are of equal quality, but please read manufacturers instructions carefully before use. Also refer to the “How to hand Wallpaper” section for Information on paste.
