Wednesday 17 October 2012, Eastwood Hall, Nottingham
Every year, the BCF runs a transport workshop that offers a chance for DGSAs and others to keep up-to-date with the GB and international road and sea transport regulations. It is also of use to those new to the transport of dangerous goods and those who specify, design or purchase containers and labels. The changes coming into force in 2013 will be detailed and explained in this workshop.
The workshop covers all aspects of transport of dangerous goods, from classification, through package selection, marking and labelling, to documentation and vehicle load calculations and requirements. It focuses on the changes planned for the next two years, whilst acting as a reminder on other relevant aspects of CDG.
The workshop targets the carriage of coatings products. Interactive sessions help delegates master the information and allow delegates to work through paint and ink-related examples with others and to discuss needs with experts.
