Tony Mash appointment

TONY MASH LEADS IPPIC SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

Following the International Paint and Printing Inks Council (IPPIC) conference in Amsterdam Tony Mash, BCF’s CEO, has been appointed as the Council’s Global Issue Manager for Sustainability. 

Tony will begin by seeking a common understanding across all regions of the world as to what sustainability means to the coatings industry and  agree a remit for the industry going forward. As an avid protagonist of sustainability within the BCF and CEPE.

Tony is looking forward to the challenges his new role will bring: “Globally most countries are involved in the Coatings Industry, and Europe currently leads the way with its commitment to sustainability. Creating a sustainable future for the global Coatings Industry has to be the way forward and it’s an exciting and challenging time ahead.” 

Tony’s work in this area will provide an important opportunity to work towards a level playing field on key regulatory issues which currently cause difficulties for many BCF members as they compete for business around the world.
