Coatings Care Award

Two Coatings Care awards are presented to BCF member sites each year. 

The Coatings Care Overall Best Performer Award has been presented since 1999 to the company that has demonstrated best in class performance across a range of performance indicators. These include accidents and incidents, energy consumption, waste and recycling, VOC emissions, personnel management and communications.

The Coatings Care Progress Award has been presented since 2009 to the company that has made the most significant year on year improvement in its performance on health, safety and environmental criteria. External judges make their recommendations based on the Coatings Care Indicators of Performance and BCF accident and incident surveys.
