Coatings Care Award

Two Coatings Care awards are presented to BCF member sites each year. The Coatings Care Award is for the site that best demonstrates its commitment to the Coatings Care programme.  The CC Progress Award is for the site showing the best year on year improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.

External judges examine entries and check practices by making site visits of shortlisted companies. The criteria used include:

• evidence of improvements in health, safety and the environment
• evidence of operating procedures based on the Coatings Care Codes of Practice
• use of the self-assessment process and target setting
• branding and communication of Coatings Care
