29 September - Safety Data Sheets workshop - Nottingham Gateway Hotel
December 2010 sees the introduction of a revision to the REACH requirements for safety data sheets (Annex II to REACH). Whilst there are some transition periods for existing SDSs**, SDSs for substances, SDSs for new mixtures and those where the SDS has had to be re-issued due to a change will need to meet the new standard as of 1 December 2010! The new requirements are significantly different from the current CHIP requirements and will need a substantial change to SDS-producing IT systems. PROSKILLS AWARDS 2010
An event to showcase the achievements and the difference individuals and companies have made in the Process and Manufacturing sector. The Awards Dinner will be a celebration of the winners and in recognition of their outstanding performance and the valuable contribution they have made towards training. As part of the Federation's sustainability drive, we want to see industry stocks utilised to their full potential to avoid early and unnecessary scrappage.
